Hi, I’m Verity!

My work has always lived at the intersection of education, storytelling, and strategy.

For more than a decade, I’ve partnered with schools, districts, and higher education institutions to help teams navigate change, strengthen communication, and advance complex initiatives with clarity and purpose. From large public systems to independent schools, I’ve seen firsthand how thoughtful strategy and strong execution shape enrollment, engagement, and institutional growth.

Before launching Verity Fletes Consulting, I held leadership and consulting roles across K–12, higher education, and education technology. At the University of Texas at Austin’s Cockrell School of Engineering, I supported executive education programs by aligning academic goals with enrollment, operations, and long-term sustainability. As a consultant with Finalsite, I advised schools nationally and internationally on digital transformation and communications strategy, helping organizations improve performance, alignment, and outcomes.

I’ve also worked directly inside independent schools, leading marketing, admissions communications, website initiatives, and advancement campaigns. In addition, I currently partner with The Education Group, supporting their marketing product strategy, positioning, website, and LinkedIn presence, and integrated communications efforts.

What connects all of this work is a simple belief: a strong strategy should feel practical. I work alongside teams to clarify priorities, build momentum, and create systems that continue to serve organizations long after our engagement ends.

Through Verity Fletes Consulting, I bring this experience together to support education organizations seeking thoughtful leadership, clear communication, and real progress.

Engagements are intentionally flexible and tailored to each team’s needs.

Rather than adding more complexity, my goal is to simplify work and create momentum.
